Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Wiltz.
Christina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My fiancé was talking with his friend one night in the garage, and CleanLink was born. We started cleaning in our neighborhood, and from there, we just grew daily. Now we have a full team, and we’ve won Best Housekeeping in Hays County, and we clean from Leander to New Braunfels.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely been a bumpy ride from finding the perfect team to pleasing our clients. We started a business in an industry we really had no experience in, and we had to learn the ins and outs, learn how to charge, and everything.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CleanLink?
We’re a cleaning company that handles commercial and residential cleanings. I think my favorite part of our company is the opportunity to give back to our community; we’ve been able to help clean the library, help out expecting mothers with cleanings for little to nothing, and sponsor neighborhood play dates for our local mom group I’m a part of. It’s given us the platform to give back to a community that’s given us so much more.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Both myself and my fiancé Akinshe have always been outgoing and able to mesh with a wide variety of people. My sister Alexandria handles all of our graphics, and she’s always been great with tech and writing. All of us grew up in great homes; my sister and I, growing up in Houston, got to experience a full spectrum of our culture, seeing amazing things our black community was capable of. Akinshe formerly ran track for both the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Texas State Bobcats. Our #1 cleaner, Evey, is a recent graduate of Texas State University
