Today we’d like to introduce you to Esmeralda Lopez.
Esmeralda, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I became interested in real estate at a very young age as I watched my father, a homebuilder, turn people’s dreams into reality. Prior to getting my real estate license, I worked an 8-5 office job, and decided that was not what I enjoyed doing. I then got my Retailer/Installer license with Texas Manufactured Housing to assist with moving and installing clients’ Manufactured Homes into their property and also as a way to help expand my knowledge with the development side of Real Estate. I would get so happy whenever I saw people that I know purchase their home and would just think to myself, “Wow, it must feel great to be a part of that journey.” So I decided to get my Real Estate License and help people achieve their dreams of becoming a homeowner.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
At first, it wasn’t the smoothest road, I got licensed as Covid had just begun and the whole world was being shut down. I was nervous and unsure how I was to even begin this process of helping clients, and much less as everything was turning from in-person to solely online. I wanted to go into an office and shadow an experienced Realtor to help me figure out how I was supposed to begin this journey being newly licensed, and none of this was possible due to the pandemic. This was a huge struggle for me because I learn best in person and hands-on.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Land and Residential Real Estate and help clients Invest, Buy, Sell, or Lease in Austin and surrounding areas. I’m a bilingual Realtor, and am fluent in both Spanish and English. I would say what sets me apart is that know about the home construction process, and all of the details and steps that go into building a home from the ground up. What I’m most proud of is that I genuinely enjoy helping my clients achieve their dreams, and will work as hard as necessary to make this happen for them.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family and clients have been a huge support in my business always sharing my social media posts and letting anyone that asks about Real Estate know to get in contact with me, as well as my boss Charlie. I joined the Choose Charlie Real Estate Team in January to help get my business organized and get additional support such as training and lead opportunities. This was the best decision I could’ve made and has provided so much success to my business.
