Community Highlights: Meet Jordan Alexis of The Resilient Society

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Alexis

Hi Jordan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
On paper, I had the perfect life. The husband. The corporate medical career. The body. The house. The car. The friend group. The adventurous life. But inside, I was miserable. The moment I realized I had “everything” was the same moment I realized none of it made me happy.

So, step by step, I burned it all to the ground.

I walked away from the stable career that everyone told me to stay in—for the 401k, the benefits, the security. Instead, I invested in multiple business coaches and launched my online nutrition and fitness business. I went all in, literally overnight. Having my back against the wall forces me to show up.

Then came the heartbreak of fertility struggles, miscarriages, and a diagnosis of endometriosis and PCOS. It made me look at my marriage differently. Moving from the Midwest to Arizona felt like the next right step—maybe a fresh start would fix things. But it only made it more clear: my marriage wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t exceptional. And I was exhausted from trying.

So, I took another leap. I hired a life coach, sold everything, moved into an RV full-time, and tried to make it work. That experience was a blessing, because while I realized my marriage wasn’t repairable, I also realized I needed deep healing. Three months in, I asked for a divorce, fell in love with a woman, and dropped all of society’s conditioning. For the first time, I was fully free.

At the same time, I knew I was done helping people track macros—I wanted to become the mentorI needed. So I dove headfirst into training, becoming a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and life coach. I studied somatics because it changed my life, and I knew it could change others’.

Since then, making big moves has become second nature to me. From building 3 6 figure businesses to moving from the RV in california, to moving to Denver, to then moving to Texas for roots & part time van life because I will always be a free spirit.

Now, four years after my rock-bottom moment, I refuse to settle for average ever again. The things I once hated, I now love—because healing changes everything. I live intentionally. I help clients chase their ambitious dreams and build extraordinary lives. Because anything done with intention can give you a completely different outcome.

Today, I’m living my dream life. I’m marrying my soulmate. I’m not scared to check my bank account. No more vacations on credit cards. I work in alignment with my human design. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been, and life feels easy.

And I want this ease for everyone. It is possible to go after your more—to find deep, true fulfillment and purpose.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all—it’s been anything but smooth. But every challenge shaped me into who I am today.

Leaving a stable career in the medical field to start my own business was terrifying. Everyone told me I was crazy to walk away from security, but I knew I was meant for more. Investing in coaches, taking risks, and building something from nothing wasn’t easy, but having my back against the wall made me show up.

Then came the deeply personal struggles—fertility issues, miscarriages, and a diagnosis of endometriosis and PCOS. Those experiences forced me to re-evaluate everything, including my marriage. I thought moving across the country would fix things, but instead, it brought clarity: I was exhausted from trying to make something work that wasn’t meant for me.

So, I took another leap. I sold everything, moved into an RV, and focused on healing. That journey led me to breathwork, somatics, and life coaching—not just as tools for myself, but as a way to help others. I let go of societal expectations, redefined success, and built a life that feels deeply aligned.

Now, I get to help others do the same—because the struggles, while challenging, were never setbacks. They were stepping stones to something greater.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I run three businesses, each reflecting a different piece of my purpose, yet all seamlessly connected.

The Resilient Society

My life coaching, business mentorship, and breathwork practice. I’m probably best known for being a no-BS mentor—I’ll challenge you, push your edges, and hold you accountable, but I also deeply understand trauma and somatics. That means I won’t just push you; I’ll see you in your pain, meet you in the trenches, and help you rise. My clients come to me when they’re truly ready for a different life. The way I work isn’t one-size-fits-all—every session is tailored, whether it’s breathwork to break through limiting beliefs, deep healing work, or restructuring your business and life for more freedom.

Alive to Rise

An adventure, healing, and empowerment retreat company I co-run with my partner, Kelsey Flanagan. We create immersive experiences that combine personal growth with adventure, giving women the space to expand, heal, and reconnect with themselves in unforgettable settings all over the world. We have 1 retreat left in 2025 with space for 2 more women! All our other retreats are sold out!

Book It With JoJo

My luxury travel agency, where I help clients unlock VIP perks and save money while curating extraordinary experiences. Whether it’s a five-star getaway or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, I ensure my clients travel like VIPs without the premium price tag.

I wear many hats as you can see, but for the first time in my life, every business I run is fully aligned with my purpose. My coaching isn’t just strategy—it’s transformation. My retreats aren’t just getaways—they’re breakthroughs. And my travel planning isn’t just booking trips—it’s curating experiences that change lives.

What I’m most proud of? That the majority of my clients come from referrals and have stayed with me through so many seasons of my own evolution. That tells me I’m not just running businesses—I’m creating lasting impact.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The most important quality behind my success is resiliency.

I’ve been through more in this lifetime than most could imagine—my parents’ divorce, my own divorce, fertility struggles, miscarriages, sexual trauma, my own divorce, being abandoned by my own family after choosing to be with a woman, financial hardship, losing everything, and then rebuilding it all from the ground up.

But through every challenge, one thing remained true: I rise. No matter how hard life has tried to break me, I’ve refused to let my circumstances dictate my joy or the life I know I’m meant for. Resiliency isn’t just something I have—it’s who I am. It’s what has allowed me to turn pain into purpose, setbacks into comebacks, and struggles into stepping stones. And it’s the reason I now get to help others do the same.
