Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Munn
Hi Kevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have lived in the Texas Hill Country my entire life. Most of my life I spent working in construction. I have had a couple of different construction businesses over the years. Various construction trades and welding were jobs I knew how to do and I was very good at it, but never seemed to be what I was meant to do. I always had this God given ability to lay hands on someone and help them relieve pain without knowing exactly what I was doing (nothing too intense, and I never charged). So after having a few health issues and trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life besides construction, I decided to go to school and become a Massage Therapist. My intentions were to be able to help people who suffered from pain. I believe that soft tissue causes most of our chronic pain. Obviously if someone suffers from an injury like a broken bone, that has to be reset. After that there is always some form of PT. So there comes soft tissue needing attention again. Seeing people rejoice because the pain that they have been suffering from is reduced or completely gone, is absolutely amazing. Seeing them be able to do things that they were unable to do in years is very gratifying. I have now brought on Localized Cryo Therapy to help my clients with pain, inflammation, weight loss, skin tightening, psoriasis and much more. My goal (dream) is to continue helping others find relief when they think they have exhausted every possibility, while giving God all the glory.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Work and life always have rough patches, what matters is how you handle them. Starting a business on faith and a shoe string budget is always complicated. The power of prayer and the will to keep going is what has gotten me to where I am today. If you want to be successful in life you can’t back down from the difficult things, instead embrace them and over come.
