Today we’d like to introduce you to LaToya Crick.

LaToya Crick

LaToya, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My quest for understanding astrology and its intricacies started in January 2013, when I attended Maharishi University of Management (MUM), now known as Maharishi International University.

From what I can remember, I always had an insatiable hunger to understand the meaning of life and human psychology.

During my childhood and teenage years, I grew up in a small town in Texas and was greatly influenced by the mystics & Christians of my family.

I understood life through their lens, but it did not fulfill what I desired most, unfortunately.

I could not find an answer to my big question: “What is the meaning of life, and why do people function the way that they do?”

After arriving to University, astrology came to me.

While touring the dormitory, someone approached me and mentioned that astrology offers insight into a person’s personality, relationships, and life path, and since then, I’ve been hooked.

It opened up a whole new world to me that I was unanticipating exploring…and then…

I was hooked even more when I realized, through astrology, that the meaning of life comes from knowing yourself deeply and doing things that YOU enjoy, truly, to help you get to know yourself even more!

Although I didn’t go to school to study Astrology, I could not stop researching and learning more about myself, others, and the cycles of the Universe through this fascinating art and science.

However, my education in soil health, art, and meditation deepens my appreciation and respect for the cycles of life on Earth and in the Cosmos and informs my knowledge of astrology.

Through studying my birth chart, I became more aware of myself and why relationships come and go. I learned to trust the process, see how “God” truly works, and practice non-attachment.

I started to understand that I don’t need control over what is going on around me and within me, but that I am a part of this ever-changing scheme of life and can play my role wholeheartedly…as a vessel..or a channel.

Like the soil and the stars, I can create, sustain, and let go with a rhythm.

To tie this all together, in a human sense, learning about soil and astrology has genuinely brought more meaning and depth to my life by filling in the gaps during my childhood and teenage years.

I can finally see how God functions in everyday life and share the Message with you and others so you can initiate your journey and play your Part wholeheartedly with the cycles of the Moon, Stars, and Soil.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has NOT been a smooth ride. I literally had my newlywed husband by my side, through the struggles of figuring out lifestyle and business, but luckily, he believed in me and my mission.

Here’s what he had to say during our journey with Emerald Astrology.

1. What normal person could adopt the tenting lifestyle to follow clients when you come from a normal society?

2. You have to be present an hour ahead of clients to be prepared to serve them.

3. You need logistics & navigation, especially if you’re coming from many miles away.

3. Going to one market and hoping enough people show up to pay for gas, and then the next market is challenging.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Emerald Astrology?
