Hi Samir, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are in 2015, the husband and wife, Samir and Nachwa wanted to start their own food business, dreaming of introducing the special Mediterranean Taste to theirs new dream land.
And although this was not the original career of any of them, Samir was a tour guide and Nachwa was a university lecturer back in Egypt, but they decided to put all their love before every ingredient they use, and this is how they could add their businesses name to the 5 stars rated restaurants in Austin,

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course it was not a smooth road, it was a completely new career for both of us, and on the other hand it was NOT a new kind of cuisine in Austin so we had to put a very big effort figuring out how to create our own flavors and with challenging prices
We’ve been impressed with Abo Youssef Mediterranean Food , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We started our food business in 2015, and since then we are among the 5 stars restaurants on yelp and google with more then 500 reviews and many first plate awards.
Our plates combine between the homemade taste and the restaurant experience with affordable prices considering the excellent quality of ingredients we use.
Our customers feel very welcome as if they are invited by friends
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Love your work and give all your best, you were always be rewarded and you will always be remembered and satisfied
