My journey from being a software engineer to an artist. With the sensational Shweta Vasudeva, this quote “Beauty may be dangerous, but intelligence is lethal” is befitting her, from being an Actor, Model, Dancer, Choreographer, TV Show Host, MC, Zumba and Bollywood Fitness Expert and a Software Professional!! She has been a Nominee for Women Empowerment Award and has won the HR Dance Challenge & was recognized and Awarded by Bollywood SuperStar Hrithik Roshan in Dallas, the USA in January 2020! She has also featured in two successful original music video as a female lead and is looking forward to more projects in the coming months. She is also the Anchor of Global International Indian Icon 2020. Shweta Vasudeva was born in the city of dreams in Mumbai, India, and has always been fascinated by Bollywood. She moved to Austin 15 years back and is a very well-known personality in Austin for her work over the years. She has been instrumental in orchestrating several South Asian Events in Austin to generate thousands of attendees. She has donated her hours and talent to support various Non-Profit organizations over the years. She is a trailblazer in the Austin community for Dance and fitness. Apart from being a dancer, the role she absolutely loves and is passionate about is being an Instructor and has trained several students and as a performer, have also given more than 100 stage dance performances! Her confidence is inevitable when she takes on the stage as an MC for several shows. Her experience has given her the opportunity to Judge several local Talent shows. She has been featured and interviewed on local TV channels and radio as an Artist. She has walked the ramp as a Model for designers in Various shows and featured in magazines. Recently she has started venturing into commercial Acting and modeling and is looking forward to exciting projects in the coming months. She totally believes, “The things you are passionate about are not random. They are your calling.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Its been a lot of hard work, dedication and persistence. Being an immigrant and coming from an engineering background to a breakthrough in the entertainment field has been quite a journey. She started her career as a Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer, MC and has recently ventured into Acting.

I am an independent artist – Actor/Model/TV Host/Dancer/Choreographer based in Austin, TX for 15 years. I am proud of the Versatility I can bring in as an Artist.
