Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Bell.
Hi Charlotte, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been an artist since 1976. I got into photography by printing images and appliquéing then on to the garments I was designing and making for women. This eventually lead to doing weddings etc and for the last 25 years I have been doing photography only. Mostly head shot and events
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The main struggle is believing in myself
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have an ability to put people at ease so they get the photo they like.
I also take a lot of photos so I get great expressions.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I work hard. Luck has a small part of the process
