Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Grissom
Hi Courtney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Originally from South Mississippi, I have lived all over the United States including Hawaii, Louisiana, and Tennessee. I came to Austin last year to be closer to my family that live in Houston. I have over 14 years of restaurant experience which taught me a great deal about management, operations, and customer service. I have since then decided to put everything I learned about running a business to the test by starting one of my own. I love to do anything active and outdoors with my dogs, explore, and travel as often as possible.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting your own company can definitely have some bumps along the way, but I feel like you live and you learn. As long as you’re determined enough to make it work, you just keep pushing ahead until you get it right.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the owner of Wonder Dog Texas LLC, a local branch (license holder) of a corporation out of Memphis, TN.
At Wonder Dog Training & Games, we do in-home dog training; we train the dog, we train the people, and we do it in your home with your schedule. We host super fun training games and events to make sure the dog can listen not only in the house, but around other dogs and distractions. I think the thing that really sets us aside, is the fact that we keep coming out until the dog is fully trained – no matter how long it takes. We want to help families enjoy life with their best-friends, without all of the frustrations.
