Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised on a farm in Kenya and twenty years ago I moved to the United States. I have always been intrigued and inspired by beautiful places, experiences, architecture, art and fashion. I believe that fashion inspires creativity and personal style. It has the power to evoke emotion that moves a culture in one direction or another.
As I have grown, evolved and matured so has my personal style which I now consider to be classic, timeless and feminine. I believe that the difference between fashion and personal style is that fashion refers to a popular trend within a specific time for example low rise jeans are trending this year on the other hand personal style is timeless and elegant for example your classic black blazer.
This journey of self-discovery resulted in the birth of The Quaintrelle Lady a fashion, beauty and lifestyle brand.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey of self-discovery is never easy however, it is very rewarding. This process will challenge your values and beliefs. It will force you to try new things, discard old habits, learn a new skill and evaluate your actions. You will fall multiple times and you will get up multiple times. This constant pressure is how diamonds are formed.

The Quaintrelle Lady is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle brand that was established in 2019 as a result of people wanting to shop my wardrobe. The Quaintrelle Lady YouTube channel focuses on style inspiration, style tips, and living a life of passion.
The word Quaintrelle represents a woman who emphasizes a life of passion expressed through personal style, leisurely pastimes, charm and a cultivation of life’s pleasures.
What sets me apart is that I am individually uniquely me and I am most proud of the woman I am becoming.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
According to Merriam-Webster risk-taking is defined as the act of doing something that involves danger in order to achieve a goal. I would also like to include that we have learned to associate danger with fear.
Relocating to a new continent is a risk. Learning a new language is a risk. Leaving a full-time job and a steady paycheck is a risk. Starting a new business is a risk. If you never risk anything you’ll never know how magnificently adaptable, resilient and creative you can be.
Risk-taking stretches and strengthens you mentally, physically and emotionally. Why live a life of mediocrity when you can live a life of greatness. Even if you fail you still come out stronger and wiser than you were before. A wise man once said that everything you have ever wanted is sitting on the other side of fear. George Addair
I believe that if you don’t risk anything you risk everything. You risk not knowing what could have been, you risk not evolving, you risk not being the highest version of yourself and you risk greatness.
