Hi J. Marie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business in June 2021, while I was still working as a tech writer. I did not like my job at the time, but I didn’t think tarot would be the way out. I learned tarot by watching pick a card readings on YouTube during my Dark Night of the Soul. And I thought tarot would be a good way to make some extra cash to pay off my medical debt, by September of 2021, I was able to quit my tech writer job and transition to reading tarot full time.
I’ve been a psychic medium my whole life, but I had to go through a rigorous soul journey to understand my gifts and how to use them to help others. I have the gift of all 6 of the Clairs: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Claircognizance, Clairaroma, Clairgustus. I am an energy reader, worker and healer.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has its ups and downs, and the highs are worth the lowest lows. In December 2021 and January 2022, when we had another Covid outbreak, I almost went under. Business was slow for everyone and it was really hard. I had to pawn family jewelry to stay afloat, which was very emotionally painful, but now that my business is booming more than ever, I consider it a necessary sacrifice and I am proud of myself for weathering that storm. That’s the thing with my tarot business, the highs are unimaginable, it makes the lows look like a stepping stone.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in the paranormal, but not the paranormal you see on TV. I don’t use spirits, energies, or entities to get views. I don’t berate them. I approach each case with the sole intent to cross over any entity, negative or otherwise. I most often cross over demonic entities. I really enjoy this work, because I grew up in a haunted house and spirits are constantly drawn to me, so I understand how debilitating something like a demon can be, so being able to release people from that type of captivity is incredibly rewarding on a spiritual level. I mean, walking into the house when I get there versus when I leave and everyone is like “I feel lighter” with huge smiles on their faces. There’s no words for that feeling, it’s just warm and fuzzy and immensely beautiful.
What’s next?
I just want to help others and see where this journey takes me. So far, I am enjoying the ride. I am open to any and all opportunities.
