Hi Jerod, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a true Austinite born and Raised in south Austin (Montoplis)
Also known as WorldwideBlendz, a master barber, entrepreneur, and content creator based in the Austin–Round Rock area. I’ve built a brand focused on precision, professionalism, and purpose, both behind the chair and online. Through my content and platform Barber Chair Conversations, i highlight barber culture, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, with a mission to inspire barbers to think bigger and build brands that last.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to being a licensed barber wasn’t always smooth. I began cutting my friends hair in high school at 16 yrs old. I was a high school dropout during my senior year. Then i went to ACC and received my GED. After that i worked multiple sales jobs before going to barber school in 2019 at bevelle barber school
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a licensed barber,I specialize in male grooming and male self awareness. What sets me apart from others barbers is my passion to push the industry forward and leave the industry better than i received it. I also so do community worth with inner city youth when the opportunity is presented

What matters to me is Developing young black and brown males and showing them you can make an honest Living without turning to the streets
