Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge And Isaura Koussa Cristini.
Jorge and Isaura, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
La Voz Texas is a project we started on February 13 of 2025 after realizing that there’s was no real Hispanic media outlet that helps the Hispanic community to be informed, and to amplify their voices.
Jorge and Isa are both journalist majored from highly rated Venezuelan universities and found on La Voz Texas a place to practice their careers and knowledge while helping the community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every start is rough and it has not been any different in this case. From the concept of getting the right name to creating the proper slogan to also choosing the content that might be the most relevant to the public, all of these was not easy, but it has been excessively rewarding. Seeing how our community keeps on growing and also our reach. That’s the biggest reward we could have. Understanding that we are getting to our community and being helpful for them
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Jorge is a journalist with over 15 years of experience working for different newspapers and magazines from Venezuela, going from El Nacional, to Noticia al Día, among others.
Isa has accrued her experience on the corporate side of journalism combined with public relations management.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I want to give credit to God almighty for guiding us and giving us the clarity to start and keep this project going.
Also I would love to recognize the hard work my wife Isa has put into La Voz Texas, she keeps me going when I feel like I want to stop.
And last but not least, I would also like to thank our friends that have played a very important part in the creation and developing of this project.
