Conversations with Karl Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karl Anderson.

Hi Karl, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Connecticut and attended Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, where I got a liberal arts degree. I was always into music, theater, movies, and writing, and I knew I would have those things. So I set about it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nobody has a smooth road in this business ha ha ha ha. I have had plenty of downtimes to contemplate why I bothered to do it. I have also been lucky enough to have been a part of many fulfilling projects, whether on stage, as a writer, as an actor in movies, or doing interviews and producing. It all goes together.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As I said, I’ve done a bit of everything. I’ve been on TV, and I’ve done a lot of independent films as an actor. My work with Ben Foster and Mark Dennis in the film “Strings.” I’m pretty proud of, as well as this Songwriters Across Texas show that Ben Foster and I’ve been making.

Before we go, can you talk to us about how people can work, collaborate, or support you?
Reach out! I’m easy to get ahold of! Oh, and if you watch us on YouTube, please subscribe and leave a like!
