Conversations with Marlene Reyes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marlene Reyes.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has been one of transformation, healing, and rediscovering my voice. As a proud Latina mom and creative soul, I’ve always felt a deep connection to beauty, energy, and purpose. After going through major life changes, I knew it was time to step into alignment and build something meaningful.

That’s how Lacecinder was born, a reflection of my spirit and my passion for creating intentional, soulful pieces that inspire clarity, peace, and protection. I now focus on sharing light through my art, affirmations, and storytelling, hoping to uplift others as I continue to grow and evolve.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I’ve gone through heartbreak, big life changes, and moments where I honestly didn’t know what was next. There were times I felt completely drained and questioned everything my path, my strength, my purpose.

But those tough seasons taught me so much. They pushed me to slow down, go inward, and start healing. That’s when I really began reconnecting with myself and leaning into my spiritual side. All of it helped me create something meaningful and real something that not only helped me, but now helps others too. I wouldn’t be who I am today without those challenges.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work is all about creating with heart and intention. Through Lacecinder, I design spiritual jewelry and share daily affirmations to help people feel more connected, protected, and aligned with who they are. Each piece I make is more than just something to wear it’s a little reminder of peace, strength, and beauty.

What makes my work special is that it comes from a real place. Everything I create is inspired by my own healing, intuition, and love for energy work. I’m proud that something I made with my hands and heart can bring someone a sense of comfort or empowerment. That’s what keeps me going.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success means living in a way that feels true to who I am. It’s having peace in my heart, doing what I love, and being able to share something meaningful with others. It’s not about being perfect or having it all figured out it’s about growing, creating, and staying connected to my purpose.

Success is also feeling good about the energy I put into the world. If something I say or create helps someone feel a little more seen or supported, then that means everything to me.
