Hi Melissa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hippie Girl Photography started in 2012, I was inspired at my own senior photo shoot when I was graduating high school and wanted to make people feel as beautiful and amazing as I felt that day! In February 2025, Hippie Girl Photography will be 13 years old and specializing in wedding photography, as well as families and seniors! We’ve done close to 100+ weddings and look forward to many more!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s not always been a smooth road, every business owner goes through different trials and lessons that help us learn how to be a better business! I’m so thankful for what I’ve learned along the way from each and every client I’ve ever had!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in wedding photography as well as families and seniors during the wedding off season. I’m known for my true to color editing style and I’m very proud of it.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Some of my favorite childhood memories are from my dance competition days. I was a ballet, tap and jazz dancer at a studio for over 12 years! So I guess you can say I’ve always been a creative!
