Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Zeringue.
Hi Sarah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started working with TSP in 2013, when I auditioned for and was cast in the musical Blood Brothers. Since then, I have been involved with TSP in various capacities, including actor, volunteer, and rentals coordinator. Currently, I serve as the Graphic Designer and Website Manager (and I performed in our most recent production, nora).
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The most challenging thing for me was coordinating rentals. I only lasted about 2 years serving in that capacity!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
With TSP, I act, sing, dance, occasionally help with props, design graphics for posters and social media, and maintain the website. I am probably known for my background in musical theatre. I am most proud of my willingness to help wherever needed, and that I am always prepared for rehearsal.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I have no training in graphic design. I learned the basics from my predecessor and have taught myself Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
