Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacie Kenyon.
Hi Stacie; so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The #LHStroll boutique crawl began to introduce new local shops to the growing community of Liberty Hill. We collaborated on our first stroll in November 2022, the Liberty Hill Christmas Stroll. It was a fantastic success! We donated a portion of the proceeds to the local non-profit L4 Cares.
The original stroll shops are:
- Main Street Marketplace, Home of Gasoline Alley, Ash & Crown Boutique, & many other boutiques, artists & artisans.
- Hill Country Hickster
- Liberty Hill Outfitters
- Blinded by the Light, and for this spring stroll on May 6, we have added Fletcher’s Florals.
- Olive & Sage Boutique
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Every day we learn something new. It has indeed been eye-opening in so many ways! The most important thing is to keep learning, enjoy the journey and appreciate the people we meet. Our customers are the best!
Thanks for sharing that. You could tell us more about your work.
Main Street Marketplace is a new venture for my husband, Jeff & I. After leaving the corporate world in 2021 to pursue his dream, Jeff opened a small car dealership in Burnet, TX. Meanwhile, after finishing homeschooling, graduating with our two kids, and having an Etsy shop, I opened up my boutique, Ash & Crown, by starting small inside Royal Bliss Day Spa for 6 months. After that, it was time to expand! It was perfect timing when we found the historic Hickman Home for lease! We were on our way! We came up with the brand Gasoline Alley for Jeff’s “man cave” area, where we sell men’s clothes, accessories, neon & vintage auto signs & memorabilia, and also serve up FREE margaritas all day, every day! We opened up some of the remaining space to other local vendors, artisans, and makers to bring in more inventory; the result is a great & unique space to shop, graze & gather for our growing community!
Let’s end by discussing what matters most to you and why.
Our customer’s experience. Without them, we don’t exist!
