Daily Inspiration: Meet Ben Morgan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Morgan.

Hi Ben, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In West Philadelphia, born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days. That’s where my story began learning early about teamwork, rhythm, and drive. Traveling around the country and East Coast playing basketball to sold out arenas from. Several hundred to several thousand. Growing up in a family business taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and genuine relationships.

Music became a major part of my life. I was captain of the drumline, went on to play in college on a partial scholarship, and performed professionally in genres ranging from jazz and funk to orchestra and rock. Those experiences shaped how I approach leadership with timing, creativity, and collaboration.

Over a decade ago, I moved to Texas and built roots in Cedar Park, where Melissa and I are raising our daughter, a highly competitive travel softball player. Together we’ve grown Sparkle Squad of North Austin into a company that reflects our values integrity, quality, and community. What began as a small window cleaning venture has evolved into a full-service operation offering window cleaning up to five stories, soft washing, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and both temporary and permanent lighting.

Our mission is simple: to make homes and businesses sparkle literally and figuratively through excellence, safety, and care. We proudly serve a wide range of clients from airports to Pilates studios, banks, daycares, and HOAs, focusing on consistency and trust.

I’m also active in the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and several networking groups, and I support nonprofits such as Candlelight Ranch and Share the Will Foundation. My faith keeps me grounded, and community keeps me motivated.

You’ll often hear me say: “We clean from the windows to the wall,” because we really do and it’s been an incredible journey getting here.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any journey worth taking, it hasn’t always been smooth. Building a business from the ground up requires faith, perseverance, and a willingness to learn through challenges. Early on, one of my biggest struggles was balancing growth with quality learning how to scale while keeping our standards high and every customer interaction personal.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I lead Sparkle Squad of North Austin. A locally owned, community driven service company specializing in exterior cleaning and professional lighting. We handle everything from window cleaning up to five stories, to pressure and soft washing, roof and gutter care, and both seasonal and permanent lighting installations.

What really sets us apart is the balance between franchise-level professionalism and small-business heart. We operate with full documentation, safety protocols, and consistency but we also know our clients by name and story. We’re part of the Cedar Park Chamber and several local networking groups, and community connection is at the center of everything we do.

I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built and the trust we’ve earned in our area. We’re active in supporting nonprofits like Candlelight Ranch, Share the Will Foundation, and Yesterday’s Gone, because giving back is a big part of our mission.

You’ll often hear me say, “we clean from the windows to the wall,” because we really do — it’s about restoring beauty and pride to every property we touch. Another mission statement I have is let’s Make American Sparkle Again.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Absolutely. I’m always looking for ways to grow both personally and professionally, and I lean on resources that challenge me to think differently. Podcasts are a big part of that. I enjoy Puff, Drink, Talk for its honest conversations and real world perspectives on business, community, and balance it reminds me that success is about connection as much as it is about hard work.

I also enjoy podcasts that spark curiosity and open-minded thinking, like Area 52 and Jeremy Corbell’s Weaponized. They dive into the unknown UFOs, technology, and deeper questions about our world and I love how they push you to stay observant, question things, and never stop learning.

When it comes to books, I tend to gravitate toward golf and sports anything that blends discipline, mindset, and performance. Sports teach a lot about patience, focus, and resilience, and those lessons carry directly into how I lead my business and navigate life.

That mix of grounded conversation, creative curiosity, and competitive focus helps me stay balanced, inspired, and always striving to improve.
