Hi Blair, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was looking for a way to provide for myself while also being able to create something I can pass on to my daughter in the future. The idea truly came from wanting to make a good living while still being able to have a life. I combined that with my knowledge of cars and ability to clean really well, and ultimately I created Blairs Carwash where we offer interior and exterior details!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road, my biggest challenge by far which is kind of obvious is the weather, lol. My business is shut down if there is a bad weather day and we’ve seem to have had more than usual this year! But I’ve been able to manage thankfully.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a professional heavyweight boxer. I train locally in Austin as well as San Antonio. I am a father of a four years old daughter and that’s my achievement I’m most proud of. I feel like what sets me apart from others is my undeniable work ethic. While still achieving what I wanted to do, I didn’t stop there. I started a business that I’m hands on with to secure a future for myself and those close to me.
What matters most to you?
My daughter and family is what’s most valuable to me. At the end of the day, if I lost everything in the world, my family and my daughter would be the only ones still here due to unconditionally loving me and wanting the best for me.
