Daily Inspiration: Meet Bri Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Davis.

Hi Bri, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I actually started my journey with TrueCore as a client at our temple location. I quickly fell in love with the energy of our cycling classes and the sense of community that group fitness brings. That passion inspired me to get certified to teach cycle, and from there I went on to earn additional certifications in barre and Pilates. Before long, I was teaching several classes a day and knew I wanted to find ways to grow my career in fitness even further.

When the opportunity opened to step into a management role at our Leander studio, I jumped at it. It was such a unique experience to help open the location from the ground up — everything from selecting flooring and paint colors to hiring our incredible team. It’s been so rewarding to watch the studio grow and to help build a space where others can find the same motivation, confidence, and community that first inspired me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. We had quite a few hiccups during the process of officially opening the Leander studio. It felt like those last few months were two steps forward and one step back. We even had to push our opening date back a couple of times, which was stressful since we already had paying legacy members waiting to start. Thankfully, they were all incredibly patient and just as excited as we were to see the new space come to life. Looking back, those challenges made the opening even more rewarding once everything finally came together.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At TrueCore, I manage the daily operations of our Leander studio — everything from scheduling and staffing to marketing, payroll, and event planning. I also still teach classes, which keeps me connected to our clients and the energy that makes this community so special. I like to think of my role as a blend of leadership, creativity, and people-centered connection.

I specialize in creating experiences that go beyond a workout — from themed classes and studio challenges to community events that bring people together. I take a lot of pride in building an environment where clients feel supported, motivated, and truly part of something bigger.

Maybe I’m a little biased, but our studio really is a special place. What sets TrueCore apart is the sense of connection you feel the moment you walk in — our community truly supports one another, celebrates each other’s wins, and makes fitness something people look forward to.
It’s a place where people show up for the workout but stay for the community.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I love finding inspiration from others in the fitness world. I follow several instructors with large followings, like Holland Scatterfield and Kristy Carson, along with many others who share motivational and creative content that keeps me inspired. I also enjoy taking online workshops or visiting other studios when I travel. It’s such a great way to learn new approaches, stay creative, and bring fresh ideas back to my own classes and team.

I’m also incredibly lucky to have a wonderful team of instructors. We have group messages where we share ideas, ask questions, and support one another — whether it’s finding new ways to make classes more engaging or helping clients with specific injuries. Being surrounded by people who are so passionate about growing in their practice has made me a better instructor, strengthened our team, and helped the studio continue to grow.
