Hi Himani, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always had a love for home decor, but my journey as a home decor content creator began in 2020, right after COVID hit. With extra time on my hands and no kids yet, I started my Instagram page as a way to document and share pictures of my home. To my surprise, my page grew rapidly as more and more people connected with my style and creativity. The love and support from my followers has been truly incredible!
Fast forward to today, I’m a mom of two, and my focus has evolved into creating beautiful yet functional spaces that work for a busy family. I love sharing home inspiration, styling tips, and practical decor ideas to help others make their homes feel both stylish and livable!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has been a learning experience! In the beginning, things felt easier—I had more time to focus on creating content, engaging with my audience, and experimenting with different styles. But as my page grew and life evolved (especially after having two kids!), balancing content creation with motherhood became more challenging.
There have been times when I felt overwhelmed trying to juggle it all—staying consistent while also being present for my family and managing my full-time job. Creative blocks happen too, especially when life gets hectic. But through it all, I’ve learned to give myself grace, adapt to new routines, and embrace the beauty of progress over perfection. At the end of the day, my passion for home decor and the amazing support from my community keep me going!

I’m a home decor content creator, and I specialize in creating beautiful yet functional spaces that feel warm, inviting, and livable. I love blending style with practicality, proving that a well-designed home doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
I’m most proud of the incredible community I’ve built on Instagram. The love and support from my followers mean everything to me! It’s amazing to know that my content inspires people to create homes they truly love, no matter their budget or stage in life.
What sets me apart is my approach—I focus on making stylish spaces work for real life. As a mom of two, I know firsthand the importance of balancing aesthetics with functionality. I share honest, relatable content, whether it’s a perfectly styled corner or the reality of decorating with little ones. My goal is to inspire, but also to keep things real and achievable!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is to stay consistent, be authentic, and enjoy the process. When I first started, I had no idea how quickly my page would grow, but looking back, I realize that showing up regularly and sharing what I truly love made all the difference.
One thing to remember is that comparison can be the biggest creativity killer. It’s easy to look at others and feel like you’re not doing enough, but everyone’s journey is different. Focus on your unique style, engage with your audience, and don’t be afraid to experiment and evolve.
Also, don’t wait for things to be ‘perfect’ before posting. Social media moves fast, and sometimes, it’s better to share imperfect but real moments rather than overthinking everything. Most importantly, have fun with it—if you’re passionate and enjoying what you do, it will shine through, and people will connect with that!
