Hi Kharlye, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hey there! My name Is Kharlye Evans and I am a Licensed Esthetician located in Round Rock, Texas. Not only am I a business owner, but I am a mother of Amazing 5-year-old twins. I offer my clients many result driven treatments in a welcoming and comforting, judgment-free atmosphere. I love my career because I am able to not only help build the confidence of others, but also I am able to build many connections with many different people. Being able to truly be myself and allow my transparency to bring in my ideal clients is awesome. It doesn’t feel like I’m working most of the time, I’m just doing what I love. And at the end of the day ,my heart and soul are so satisfied it brings tears to my eyes. I am truly passionate about what I do & I am thirsty for knowledge. I am continually taking different classes to perfect my craft & to be able to give my clients the best results and experiences.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a first time business owner…. it’s not easy at all, but you learn as you go & every single thing is a learning experience. You will lose friends along the way and sometimes you may feel alone with your Dreams and aspirations .. but the people who are meant to go along with you in this journey will naturally gravitate to you. Strangers will be your biggest supporters! Constant anxiety & being overwhelmed is a challenge. I’m actively dealing with it. My mind is constantly thinking of business ideas and things I need to do & it’s hard to shut it all off. All while balancing being the mother to 5-year-old twins & finding the time to prioritize and take care of myself & keep up with friendships. Nobody will truly understand how hard it is.. but you have to remain focused. It comes with alot of tears, sleepless nights, and moments where you just want to give up , but you have to remember your vision and not give up on yourself. Sometimes we are our biggest critic & we have to get out of our heads. It takes dedication, sacrifice, & tunnel vision. Nobody may see the vision, but thats okay, because it’s YOURS. You are capable of anything you put your mind to.

I am a Licensed Esthetician
I aspire to be a voice for the small black business owners/entrepreneurs and to influence and inspire the community . I want little black girls and boys to know they are capable of anything they put their mind to .
The services I currently offer at the moment are facials, body contouring, teeth whitening & sugar hair removal. I do plan on adding more services in 2023 w. For me, this is just the beginning and I’m so excited for what’s to come.
My prices will have a slight increase in January 2023 .
