Daily Inspiration: Meet Mackenzie Grace

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mackenzie Grace.

Hi Mackenzie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started making bracelets as an outlet during the beginning of the pandemic, back in May 2020. It started as just as a fun hobby and it quickly grew into a small business. I made a few bracelets and my mom posted them on social media, next thing I knew we had 40 orders in the first week. I knew immediately that If I was going to start a small business, I also wanted to give back to my community so we decided right then that 10% of all proceeds were going to be donated to different charities. We want to spread love, kindness, and support through jewelry and monetary donations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It actually has been very smooth! My business is run on fun and I have to say that I have the BEST community! People are so kind, giving, and supportive. I’m grateful we don’t have many obstacles at all.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have to say I’m most proud of being a young business owner. I’m only 15 and juggling school and extracurricular activities can be tough but with the help of my mom Earths Grace runs smoothly. We make custom bracelets, necklaces, and phone charms with a few extras to bring our customers joy and spread love. We give 10% of all proceeds back to different charities every month. I feel like we’re so much more than a business, we’re a culture. We have helped facilitate over $5,000 to multiple charities over the last year and a half. That small contribution is hopefully making a big impact on someone else’s life.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My mom helps me the most with the everyday running of my business. Since I’m only 15, she does most of the posting and helps with communicating with customers. I have the MOST supportive community too, my friends and family always share and support my business and purchase from me. My best friends also help me make bracelets when we give them to for free for charities and want to support us giving back.
