Minnieology®️ Gifts began somewhat accidentally several years ago when Minnie created personalized gift boxes for close friends celebrating milestone birthdays. At the time, she was immersed in a demanding corporate career in event planning, and the idea was put on hold.
In August 2018, Minnie stepped away from the corporate world to prioritize her health and focus on building a family. During that transitional period, the spark reignited. While creating birthday gifts for two of her best friends—both busy working moms turning 40—she felt inspired to revive the idea. She wanted them to feel seen, loved, and truly celebrated.
What started as thoughtful gifting turned into something more—she began decorating the interior box flaps to add a deeply personal touch. From there, Minnieology®️ was born, blending creativity, intention, and heart into every box.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all—but it’s been meaningful every step of the way.
Starting Minnieology®️ Gifts came from a place of love, but turning that passion into a business has had its fair share of challenges. I wear all the hats—designer, marketer, fulfillment, customer service—you name it. Learning to balance creativity with operations was a steep learning curve.
I also navigated a significant life shift: leaving a stable corporate job, prioritizing my health, and starting a family. Juggling business growth while raising a child and managing everyday life tested my patience, energy, and confidence.
I sometimes questioned whether I could keep going, especially when orders were slow or when comparison crept in. But what’s kept me grounded is the feedback from customers. When someone tells me the gift box made them cry happy tears or that it helped them feel close to someone far away, it reminds me why I started.
The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth it. Every challenge has shaped the heart of this brand.

I’m probably best known for the emotional reactions these boxes create. People often say, “This isn’t just a gift—it’s an experience.” I’ve had recipients cry happy tears, send the most heartfelt messages, and tell me they felt truly seen and loved. That’s the magic I aim to deliver in every single box.
What sets Minnieology apart is the heart behind it. These aren’t mass-produced gift boxes. Each one is custom-created with the recipient in mind, using quality items from other small businesses and eco-conscious packaging. It’s thoughtful gifting made easy, without sacrificing meaning or care.

People are often surprised to hear I’m a bit of a last-minute gifter! That’s part of why I started Minnieology—I wanted to create a way to send something meaningful even when life gets busy. It turns out that a bit of thoughtfulness goes a long way.
