Today we’d like to introduce you to Sally Daneshjou.
Hi Sally, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our inspiration for fashion initially began when my daughter, Danielle Daneshjou was in need of a dress for a formal event. Danielle had a very specific design in mind that she couldn’t find in any store or online. At that time, Danielle was modeling in many fashion shoots and collaborating with creative professionals. I went to many of the fashion events with her. We found that we really enjoyed the fashion experience and decided to begin our clothing line by creating our own fashion team. With my eye for sophistication and classic ideas for design, combined with Danielle’s modern and edgy vision for design, we created the Sally Daneshjou Collection.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
From the beginning, we wanted our gowns to be very high quality with the finest fabrics from Italy. We knew we were looking for something very specific for our gowns. We wanted to follow our hearts and do unique designs other people aren’t doing. A struggle for us was putting together our team abroad. Finding our team in Milan, Italy was like finding a rare gem. Additionally, with them being abroad there was a language barrier that we had to learn to overcome. We worked very hard to bridge that gap and have established long-term friendships. We are truly blessed to have such a fantastic team supporting our vision and creative ideas.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We create evening and wedding gowns for special events. Our gowns are very high couture, unique and unforgettable, and enhancing the silhouette. We are most proud of our selection of high-quality fabrics and attention to fine detail on each design. We love to create new trends in an elegant manner. Every gown is custom-made and truly a work of art. Our latest collection has incorporated day dresses, women’s suits, and jewelry.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Staying true to our vision. At the end of the day making sure every action we take falls in line with what we believe in as a brand. I believe the most special attribute is working together as Mother/Daughter. We know each other so well and we help each other every day to follow our dreams of fashion.
