Today we’d like to introduce you to Anvita Jain
Hi Anvita, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Just six months after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, my life in Dallas looked like a dream – a loving relationship, traveling whenever I wanted to, a cute apartment, a family that always had my back, and buzzing social life. The reality was I woke up dreading every single day with barely enough energy to brush my teeth and spent my 9 to 5 fending off panic attacks in between meetings. An engineering degree and cushy business analyst job later I was still left stuck, exhausted, and overwhelmed with no idea what to do about it.
After hitting rock bottom, I decided enough was enough and made health my number one priority. I devoted myself to talk therapy, biofeedback, and Reiki before following my passion for solving people problems into a corporate Human Resources career. Realizing on my road to recovery how many struggled in silence, I dedicated myself to mental health advocacy to increase awareness and create spaces for transparent dialogue. The deep sense of purpose I found in helping others see a life beyond their struggles inspired me to become a transition coach. As a transition coach, I love helping women move out of a soul sucking career into a purpose-driven career path that they adore.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been smooth road, but what would life be without its bumps? One of the toughest struggles has been dealing with multiple “silent” conditions, including generalized anxiety disorder, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Healing these conditions required asking for help, facing my deepest trauma, and not letting them define my life. I have also chosen to forge a nontraditional career path starting in engineering, switching to business analytics and then Human Resources (HR) and coaching before I found a path full of purpose, meaning and impact. Following my intuition requires an abundance of courage in a world so attached to convention. Personally, another challenge was leaving a long-term relationship six months before I turned 30 and putting myself back out there to meet a life partner.
I am deeply grateful for these challenges as they have gifted me resilience and transformed me into a woman whom I am proud of. I truly believe experience is one of the best teachers and every human is meant to go through certain trials to serve others with the lessons that they learn. As a transition coach, it is my absolute privilege to share the lessons life has taught me with others to help them create their best life.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Anvita Jain | Transition Coach?
I am a transition coach who focuses on helping women stuck in overwhelming, exhausting and soul draining careers design a career path based on their deeper purpose and passions. Though I have experimented with many healing modalities such as talk therapy, Reiki, biofeedback, sound healing, I was first inspired by the practice of coaching when I saw how much it helped grow the leaders I supported as an HR professional. However, there was an element missing in corporate coaching – wellness.
After years of talk therapy, I found myself tired of rehashing my trauma week after week without feeling an ounce better, so I turned to wellness coaches. My coaches helped me connect with my body and tune into its natural wisdom. Taking a body-based approach to my health unlocked the missing element and has truly been life changing for me. Its helped me tap into my inner compass, my intuition, and design all areas of my life to support my needs.
My wellness-based approach sets me apart as a career transition coach. I have a 100+ hours of training in various modalities, including but not limited to meditation, breathwork, nonlinear movement, visualization, sensory awareness and exploration, inner child work, behavioral and emotional mapping and intuitive energy healing. I combine somatic (body-based) tools with my business and HR experience to help women build a practical transition plan that allows them to make a deeper impact they desire to make in the world while taking care of their health, enjoying their life and being their best selves. There are a few ways for women to work with me.

1:1 Coaching
I currently offer a 1-1 coaching program called Career Catalyst for women who want to work with me more deeply. This program is designed to help women go from days on the job full of constant doom & gloom and tapped out by noon to rolling out of bed in excitement to run her “pinch me” empire. This program is for the woman who knows in her bones there is a much better way, desires a clear path forward to make a deeper impact and is ready to go all in to create the time, lifestyle, and financial freedom that she daydreams about. Work with me to unlock a career path that leaves you deeply impacting others in a way that brings you tears of joy, a career that allows you to jet set to New York, a Mediterranean island or wherever your heart desires, and relaxed evenings chatting life with your best friend over tacos or dim sum. If this sounds like a fit, I would absolutely love to support you! Contact me through my Instagram or website, both of which are linked below.
What’s next?
With such a bright present, there are so many things I am excited about for in the future. I am looking forward to building my coaching practice and creating content around navigating career transitions to help as many women as I can. Additionally, I am on the quest for my next HR opportunity, specifically in the HR business partner / generalist and talent development spaces. I love solving people problems to enhance employee experience and am excited to see where this brings me next.
Over the years, I have cultivated an amazing community in Austin and am thrilled to continue nourishing and expanding my local connections. I have a few exciting trips on the horizon – Washington DC, Greece, LA and Mexico City to name a few. I plan to continue to travel the globe, including attending spiritual retreats. I attended a spiritual retreat in Mallorca that changed my life, so I believe my future will be blessed with a good dose of Mediterranean sunshine.
