I had always believed in the power of investing in yourself, and makeup had been one of my favorite ways to express that.
That’s when the idea of starting a permanent makeup business came to life. I saw it as a way to combine my passion for beauty with my desire to uplift others. The thought of helping people feel more beautiful, more confident, and more comfortable in their own skin resonated deeply with me. I wanted to offer services that made a lasting difference in how people viewed themselves.
Over time, as I began connecting with my clients and seeing the transformations they experienced, my passion for the business only grew. What started with a focus on permanent makeup services like microblading soon expanded into other offerings. I began adding services like powder brows, lip blush, and permanent eyeliner to meet the needs of my clients. Running a small business has definitely had its challenges. Like any entrepreneur, I’ve faced obstacles, from navigating the complexities of business operations to learning how to market my services and build a client base. There have been times when things didn’t go as planned, and moments when it felt overwhelming trying to juggle everything.
One of the biggest hurdles has been learning how to grow the business while staying true to my mission—helping people feel more beautiful and confident. Balancing that with all the behind-the-scenes aspects, like managing appointments, handling finances, and staying on top of trends in the beauty industry, can sometimes feel like a lot. But even during those tough moments, I’ve always felt grateful for the opportunity to pursue this passion.
These struggles have made the success even more rewarding. Every challenge has been a learning experience, and with each hurdle, I’ve become more resilient. The connections I’ve made with my clients and the satisfaction of seeing how my services positively impact their lives are what keep me going. I’m thankful for every step of this journey and for the chance to continue growing, both personally and professionally, in a field I love.
