I am a FOUNDER of Lymph in Motion!
My name is Criselda White was raised in the small fishing town of Solana in the Philippines as the third of six children. My father was a fisherman and my mother sold fish at the local market. Household income depended on daily catch and sales — when business was slow, meals were uncertain.
At just nine years old, I began working to support myself and help my family. I woke at 3:00 a.m. daily to complete household chores before school and sold boiled eggs, snacks, and drinks at the pier after class to pay for education and necessities. From elementary school through college, I independently supported my schooling.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and immigrated to the United States in 1998 in pursuit of opportunity and long-term stability. In the U.S., I continued my education in marketing and explored nursing before discovering my calling in hands-on healthcare.
On 2017, decided to pursue Massage Therapy and in 2018, I became a licensed massage therapist. Early in practice, I noticed clients struggling with unexplained swelling and lack of recovery guidance. This sparked my specialization in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
I pursued advanced certification through Klose Training, became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, and later completed cosmetic surgery recovery certification in California.
In 2021, I launched my business using $9,000 in COVID relief funding under the name Lunas Masahe. Through disciplined reinvestment and education, I built a sustainable practice.
Recognizing the growing need for specialized lymphatic care, I strategically pivoted in 2025 and rebranded as Lymph in Motion by Criselda White LLC — focusing exclusively on advanced recovery services.
The clinic generated $113,000 in 2025 revenue as a solo provider with a 40% profit margin, demonstrating strong market demand and operational efficiency.
RESILIENCE AS A SINGLE MOTHER
As a minority woman and single mother, I built my business while supporting my son and extended family.
After experiencing emotional abuse in my first marriage, I chose independence and returned to school. Years later, following divorce when my son was eight years old, I became the sole provider for my household.
There were times when basic needs were difficult to meet — moments that strengthened my determination to create long-term stability.
Through education, entrepreneurship, and perseverance, I transformed hardship into healthcare leadership.
Everyday is a new day! I never let challenges distract my goals. This Month, I finally published my book in Amazon, “Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Foundation and Clinical Applications”. I finally did it!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life was never easy. But everything made me stronger everyday.

This modality is poorly recognized by healthcare industry. This population is often ignored. Lymphedema is serious and often developed whenever lymph nodes are removed. Hello cancer survivors! Post Op recovery populations often left in the dark and nowhere to go. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is gentle yet potent enough to decongest acute or chronic swelling.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
5 years ago, I started with 9k from the covid-19 funds. I used this as my capital and started my business. Now, I am making $10k or more a month. 5-10 years from now, I see my company hire 2-5 therapists, teach my own continuing education and published 3 more books in Amazon.
