Lynze, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Before I started my business, I worked at a corporate job for eight years and it just wasn’t fulfilling me. I asked myself one day “why are you not doing what you love?” After a lot of time and consideration, i decided to go for it and take a risk. I have always loved fashion and everything beauty. I wanted to start my own boutique that showed who I am and what my style is. I was able to build a website and make it my own. At first, it was something I could do as a side hustle but with time and effort, that would change. Four years later, I finally quit my corporate job and was able to work on my business full time. It was definitely scary to take that leap of faith but I knew I would be so much happier in life if I did. Now, I am able to give my business all my time and energy and it has been the best decision I have ever made. I am constantly looking for new ways to grow my business and make my customers happy. The satisfaction of my customers is extremely important to me which is why I take my time to perfect each and every part of my business. If something needs improvement, I get to work! I’m passionate about what I do and I hope that reflects in my work.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not always been easy. In today’s time, everything is online. I knew starting my business would be easy but growing it? That was the tricky part. Getting my business name out there has been one of the biggest challenges id say. Learning about new marketing techniques is almost a whole job in itself. Another struggle that I think all entrepreneurs have is, the question of “what if?” What if the business fails? What if no one likes my products?” What if I can’t do this? Once I was able to overcome the “what ifs” I could motivate myself and work for success.

Birch and Blossom Boutique is an online boutique based out of Austin, TX. We sell women’s clothing along with jewelry and accessories.
