Hi Margarita, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
From Austin, Texas. I am a mother of two beautiful children and a wife of a loving and supportive husband. Growing up, I would see how hard my parents worked. They would always strive to do as much as possible to give my brother and me the best they could. My parent’s work ethic has always been something I have admired. They taught me to challenge myself and overcome any obstacles that come my way. In 2021, I decided to make a career change and work for myself after working ten years in the Bank industry. Real Estate has changed me and helped me grow in every aspect of my career. My experiences have helped form me into who I am today and have led me to find a new passion.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
After getting licensed and doing hours of research, I assumed it would be smooth sailing from the start. However, I was very wrong. I soon felt like I had no idea where to start. Real Estate can be intimidating and overwhelming. With the ever-changing market, I wanted to be sure I would provide the best for my clients. Luckily, the great team at the Williamson County office coached me and provided all the resources and training I needed to help me along the way.
We’ve been impressed with JB Goodwin REALTORS®, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a full-time real estate professional with JB Goodwin REALTORS®. My commitment is to help my client’s real estate needs, whether it is selling a home or finding a dream home. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. This skill has widened the range of clients I can help and created another level of comfort. I am proud to have entered the real estate industry after working in the bank industry for ten years. This career change has allowed me to continue to help people and build trust. Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
This is a difficult question because I am a people person. I have always been the person to start a conversation and make someone laugh. I like to make new friends wherever I go. So, being a friendly person, I tend to be very open with everyone. I love to share stories about my kids, my childhood, and all my life experiences which may lead me to over-share more than people may want to know, haha. I really can’t think of something that no one would not know about me. Just know, if you ever meet me, you will get a good laugh!
