Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin Haugh.
Hi Benjamin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ben was born at home in a small rural town outside of Austin, Texas. He grew up in a deeply religious cult community where life was extremely strict, and resources were scarce. He was one of seven children, and his family lived in severe poverty for much of his childhood.
When Ben was ten years old, the religious community his family belonged to relocated to Waco, Texas. His family followed the group there, and they moved frequently during that time, going from house to house while remaining within the community. Life in the group was difficult, and as he grew older, he began to question the rigid rules and isolation that surrounded him.
At fifteen, after rebelling against the expectations of the community and struggling with intense unhappiness, he was sent to a boys’ home in Houston, Texas called Youth Reach. While the experience was difficult, it also marked a turning point in his life. At sixteen, he became an emancipated minor and was forced to begin navigating the world on his own.
With little support and no clear direction, Ben eventually made his way back to Austin. In a moment that would change the course of his life, he met a man in a parking lot who offered him a job and a place to stay. He accepted the opportunity and began learning a trade he had never heard of before: property damage restoration that included water and fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and crime scene cleanup.
By the time Ben turned eighteen, the company he had been working for began to fall apart. He was faced with the difficult choice of trying to find another job or taking a risk and starting something of his own.
He had no formal education and struggled with reading and writing, which made the idea of running a business feel overwhelming. But despite the odds, he decided to take the risk. At just eighteen years old, he founded his first company, All Nation Restoration, starting with nothing more than determination and one friend who volunteered to work alongside him.
Over the past seventeen years, Ben has dedicated his life to building and growing All Nation Restoration. Through hard work, persistence, and a commitment to helping people during some of the most difficult moments in their lives, he has successfully scaled the company and established it as a trusted name in restoration.
As All Nation Restoration continued to grow, Ben ran into a problem that many business owners eventually face. And that was marketing. Like most companies trying to expand, he turned to outside marketing agencies for help.
He worked with many different companies over the years, hoping to find a partner that could help him reach more customers and continue scaling the business. But the experience was frustrating. Agencies made elaborate promises about results that never materialized. Communication was inconsistent, and it was often difficult just to get someone on the phone.
After years of cycling through different marketing providers and investing significant amounts of money with little to show for it, Ben became increasingly frustrated with the industry. He realized that many agencies didn’t really understand the businesses they were marketing for, and even fewer were willing to be transparent about what was actually working.
Eventually, he decided to approach the problem the same way he had approached every other challenge in his life: by figuring it out himself.
Drawing from his firsthand experience as a business owner, Ben began building a digital marketing team. What started as an effort to solve his own company’s marketing problems quickly began producing real results. As those results became clear, the idea for something bigger began to take shape.
Ben founded Rep Lock Marketing with the simple goal of creating the kind of marketing company he had spent years looking for, but could never seem to find. A company that business owners could actually reach when they needed help. One that focused on honest communication, measurable results, and strategies built around the real needs of the businesses it served.
This solution to his own frustration has since grown into a company dedicated to helping other businesses avoid the same struggles he faced.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey that’s followed has been far from smooth. Building a company without formal education meant Ben had to learn everything the hard way. From managing finances and understanding contracts to hiring and leading a team, he had to teach himself the realities of running a business while already in the middle of doing it. Much of that learning came through trial, error, and persistence.
As the company grew, the challenges grew with it. Scaling required taking major risks, often before there was any certainty about the outcome. There were moments of doubt, financial pressure, and difficult decisions that come with leading a company and being responsible for the business, and even for the livelihoods of the people who work there.
At the same time, Ben was building a life outside of work. Getting married, raising a family, and trying to balance the demands of business with the responsibilities of being a husband and father added another layer of pressure. Like most entrepreneurs, he learned that success in business often comes with sacrifices, and finding that balance is something he continues to work at every day.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Rep Lock Marketing?
Rep Lock Marketing was built from the perspective of a business owner who had spent years hiring marketing agencies and walking away frustrated. Ben founded the company after experiencing firsthand how difficult it can be to find a marketing partner that is responsive, transparent, and focused on real results.
We focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses grow through practical digital marketing strategies. The company specializes in search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and event marketing. We do offer packages, but our team focuses on meeting businesses where they are and building strategies around their specific goals, budgets, and stage of growth.
Ben leads the direction of the company, bringing the perspective of someone who has built and scaled his own business from the ground up. Day-to-day operations are managed by Chris Robinson, who works alongside the team to execute each client’s strategy, allowing us to stay closely involved with clients and the work being done.
What sets Rep Lock Marketing apart is its focus on accountability and communication. Many of the clients who come to us have previously worked with agencies that were difficult to reach or unable to clearly explain results. Our company was built specifically to solve that problem.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Ben often says there aren’t many positive memories from his childhood. Those years were marked by hardship and instability. But one memory stands out. As a young boy, Ben spent time with an older man who took the time to teach him the basics of hunting and fishing. It was one of the first times in his life that an adult showed him real patience and invested time in him.
Those experiences outdoors stuck with him. Today, Ben is an avid hunter and fisherman, and those early lessons remain one of the few positive threads he still carries from his childhood.
