Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Boone.
Hi Faith, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for interior design started in 4 grade! I would go to Barnes and Nobles with my mom and read design magazines for hours, I would then come home and staged/rearrange everything! My passion was big from the very start! After highschool, I interested with a design company in Austin. This confirmed my desire to start a career. I could not afford a 4 year university, so I knew I had to take a unique path in building my brand and gaining experience. I graduated high school 2020, smack dab during Covid. I virtually completed my design certification at New York Institute of Design, while doing free lance design projects and professional organization to pay the bills! I just wanted to get into peoples homes and make them beautiful in any way I could! After school, I got a job in project management at a very niche Architectural manufacturing company. During my 2 years here, I learned the structural side of the industry, how to better conduct meetings and client presentations and gained the confidence I needed to start my own company! I figured if I couldn’t do the traditional route of design school, then I would do my best to gain real life experience. During this time, my husband and I had a beautiful little girl, Trinity. My husband,Zack, has 10 years experience in Tile Installation. Him and I started “Trinity Tile and Design” at the end of 2024. I have recently left my position in project management and am full time working one on one with design clients. I do design consulting for Trinity Tile and Design, and full renovation, short term rental stagings, virtual designs, and space planning for “Interiors by Faith” it has been quite the journey! Truly, it took much confidence, self education and “winging” it to get where we are. My passion for design allowed me to get over any obstacles we faced. I now have the pleasure of working with awesome design clients!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was not the smoothest path. Graduting highschool during Covid put a hold on many things! In addition to that, I was a self taught designer looking for my place in the industry! I did a lot of unpaid work in order to show my skills, from there, i was able to gain clients. But during that time, it was a struggle to pay the bills! I had to leave everything from scratch- marketing, business development, accounting, taxes and LLC’s, building codes. Thanks God for CHAT GPT! haha. On top of everything, after a year of working as a project manager full time, I got pregnant with my Daughter. I had an awesome opportunity to bring my daughter to work with me each day. I worked full time, with my baby, everyday! Meetings and all! Nursed her during virtual client presentations. I was simultaneously working two full-time jobs that completely contradicted each other. One was a corporate, fast pace world, and the other was a slow loving, silly little girl.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Interiors by Faith?

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My previous boss, Nikita, that hired me as a PM at the architectural company. He was a young business owner as well. He taught me the fundamentals of business development, how to work with people and make connections. He taught me to say yes to big scary things and figure it out someway or another! He saw my drive and fed it. He gave me creative projects to keep my confidence high, he taught me about public speaking. I owe a lot to him!!
