Hidden Gems: Meet Hoppy Lane and Albert Olivares of Austin Dental

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hoppy Lane and Albert Olivares. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Both Dr. Lane and Dr. Olivares have been practicing dentistry in Austin for over 25 years. That’s not where their similarities end; they both attended the University of Texas Health Science center in San Antonio and completed the same advance surgical training there as well.

When it came time for Austin Dental’s founder to retire, they decided to go in together to purchase the practice they had worked so hard to help build.

Friends, business partners, and colleagues, they enjoy all the outdoor activities Austin has to offer.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No journey is complete without at least a few struggles. But the decision to join and later purchase Austin Dental was a no-brainer. The timing was right, the heart and drive were there, and they both count it was one of the best decisions they’ve ever made.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I think the thing that sets us apart from other practices is our team culture. We strive to make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. All four of our dentists are super GPs, which means they’ve all undergone advanced training to broaden their abilities. People’s time is valuable, and we understand that. Between our expanded services and advanced dental technology, Austin Dental can take care of all our patients’ needs in-house.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising, that not a lot of people know yet…We have a new South Austin location! Austin Dental Westlake is located off Bee Caves Rd in the Westlake Dermatology building and we are thrilled to be able to help more Austinites with their dental needs. The same services, the same great care our patients have come to expect. And we’re accepting new patients.
