Hi Lajuana , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my journey with a passion for creating safe, nurturing, and high-quality early learning environments for young children. As a mother and educator, I saw firsthand the need for a space where children are not only cared for, but truly taught, supported, and prepared for lifelong success.
That vision led me to open The Early Learning Establishment Academy (TELEA), a home-based preschool and early learning program in Leander, Texas. I began with a small group of children and a big commitment to excellence, focusing on early literacy, math foundations, social-emotional development, and hands-on learning experiences.
Over time, TELEA has grown through word-of-mouth, strong family relationships, and consistent results. Today, I serve families who value structured learning, communication, and a loving environment where every child is known, valued, and challenged.
My goal is to continue expanding TELEA, increase access to quality early childhood education, and eventually grow into a dedicated facility that can serve even more families in the community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road and I don’t believe real growth ever is.
Building TELEA from the ground up came with financial pressure, long hours, licensing regulations, self-doubt, and the challenge of earning trust in a competitive industry. As a woman building a business while balancing family responsibilities, I had to learn how to lead, make hard decisions, and stay disciplined even when things felt uncertain.
There were seasons where I was exhausted, seasons where I questioned myself, and seasons where I had to push forward without applause.
But every obstacle sharpened my vision. Every challenge strengthened my standards. And every setback reminded me why I started.
I don’t see challenges as barriers I see them as proof that I’m building something that matters.

The Early Learning Establishment Academy (TELEA) is a home-based preschool and early learning program in Leander, Texas dedicated to building strong academic and social foundations for young children.
We specialize in early literacy, phonics, sight words, handwriting, number recognition, counting, early math concepts, and social-emotional development. Our program blends structured instruction with hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and routine-driven classroom systems that mirror a traditional school environment.
What sets TELEA apart is our high standards, consistency, and intentional teaching. We are not a babysitting service — we are an early learning academy focused on real school readiness and measurable progress. Families choose TELEA because they see growth in their children’s confidence, independence, and academic skills.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of creating a program that reflects excellence, structure, and purpose while maintaining a loving, family-centered environment.
In addition to childcare and preschool services, TELEA offers enrichment activities, assessments, and parent communication systems designed to support the whole child and the whole family.
My long-term vision is to expand TELEA into a dedicated facility and continue building a respected early childhood education brand that sets a higher standard for the industry.
What’s next?
My future plans are focused on growth, expansion, and impact.
I plan to expand The Early Learning Establishment Academy into a dedicated facility that can serve more families while maintaining the same high standards, structure, and intentional teaching that define TELEA.
I also plan to continue developing curriculum resources, educational materials, and enrichment programs that support early literacy and school readiness beyond the classroom.
Long-term, I see TELEA becoming a recognized early childhood education brand known for excellence, consistency, and results. My goal is not just to grow a business, but to build a legacy that shapes confident learners, strong families, and future leaders.
