Hidden Gems: Meet Loly Briceno of Lollipot Flower Infused Bakeshop

Today we’d like to introduce you to Loly Briceno.

Hi Loly, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After picking up my 40th birthday cake I was so happy with how cute it was, I genuinely felt joy. I started thinking how I can do this at home! A month later Lollipot Bakeshop was born.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It had been years since I last decorated a cake. Cake decorating is not like riding a bike. It does not come back to you so easily.

Incorporating Hemp flower was a bit tricky in the beginning. Learning small amounts go a long way, changed everything for the better.

Most recently keeping cannabis alive in Texas has been the scariest part of this whole journey. Banning cannabis in Texas would 100% affect my flower infused bakeshop. Along with several small shop businesses owners. Free the Flower.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Lollipot Flower Infused Bakeshop offers custom made to order cakes and treats.. Lightly infused with Hemp Derived Cannabis Flower to help promote relaxation. We also offer infused honey, agave, and gummies.. All made in our cottage food kitchen based in New Braunfels, TX.

Most weekends you can find us at local farmers markets around town.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Being honest and doing my best to answer questions and concerns. Cannabis isn’t for everyone and it’s not a miracle flower. With the small micro doses we offer you will not be “flying high” but you will have a nice smooth relaxing ride.
