Hidden Gems: Meet Melanie Morgan of Impact Evolution Coaching & Consulting LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Melanie Morgan

Hi Melanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Spiritual Evolution Coach with a foundation in helping people walk on a path of purpose, from a place that is healed, whole, and ready. I am also the creator of the SHE POW 5-Day Mastermind and founder of an upcoming online learning platform, The Collective Light Academy. I am Author of the blog, The Fugly Ugly Truth and the book, From Broken to Becoming. I am in the middle of writing 3 additional books and am finally living on purpose. This is where my story is now, but my beginnings were much different.

I grew up on an Island called Guam, a tiny island 32 miles long and 12 miles wide at the widest point. I grew up poor, and a great portion of that time was in a tiny little shack in the middle of the jungle with no power and no running water. I grew up in a broken household, but we learned to make the best of it. I didn’t have what other kids had and for a while, resented that. But as I grew older, I learned that I had what many today do not. What I gained in my humble beginnings is priceless.

My work ethic is unmatched. Because I had to work for everything I had, I learned that I am capable and able to accomplish much. I learned the value of money, but even more, that money has little value compared to the experiences, relationships, and collaboration of community, family, and the relationship I have to myself. I learned that if I want something, I have the ability to get it, to build it, and to create it. Resilience: this is what I gained.

My compassion and empathy for others goes deep. As the oldest of 10, from a very large family, I learned that everyone is different, experiences life differently, and that we must honor the journey of another to truly evolve on our own. We can celebrate our differences, because it is within them that we discover the strength of humanity. I see people in ways that they may not yet see about themselves, and because of this, I can reach parts of them that have been dormant or hidden or lost. Connection: this is what I gained.

My creativity is bold, because I learned early on that the power to create begins in the mind. Whether I start from nothing, or have everything given to me, it is only as powerful as I believe it can be. I learned how imagination can shift my mindset from lack to abundance, and from there, I shape the world around me. Wisdom: this is what I gained.

I don’t see in color nor in class of any race. I see the human in each. I know what it is to have and to have not. There is no distinguishing a person based on their current place in life. I respect their culture, their upbringing, their dreams, and their right to live life to the best of their ability, and their right to challenge the limitations of the life they live. Love: this is what I gained.

My affections cannot be bought, nor can it be wasted. I love from a place that is deep while understanding that the way I love is my own. No one can replicate it, imitate it, nor give it to me the same way that I give to them. Because of this, there is no attachment to an outcome, and I hold no demands of others to do as I do, nor be as I am. I can honor others exactly the way they are and choose whether or not our journey together ends or continues, without any anger, hurt, or resentment. Acceptance: this is what I gained.

These are just a few. My story has had many turns and many challenges.

I went through deep, heart-wrenching grief after losing two brothers in very tragic ways within a year and a half of each other. At the same time, I was going through the struggle of maintaining my marriage and losing the battle quickly. I was working in a corporate role, at the prime of my career, but that was not fulfilling, and it took the joy out of my day consistently. Everything in my life was a daily battle between hope and chaos. I gave up.

I allowed myself to leave everything behind, the grief, the marriage, the job. I had to do something, so I left everything.
This turn started me on a path to healing, wholeness, and a greatness I could never have imagined. When I turned 50, I gave myself a year of freedom: Freedom from obligation, direction, and expectation. I finally gave myself the opportunity to love me. I had not realized how much of how I told my story kept me separate from who I truly was, until I realized how little I knew about me outside of my story.

This is where the blog, The Fugly Ugly Truth came in. I began to dissect my emotions, thoughts, and beliefs, and did not allow myself to hide from the truth of it all. I learned how to see that the cycles I was in were a product of my own doing. I learned the habits that I had perpetuated the struggle. And I finally learned to change it all.

I learned to release what no longer served my greater good. I learned to own the responsibility of making my life the way I needed it to be. I took my power back from history, from the way I told my story, and from the survivor identity I created within it. I began my spiritual journey back to self.

Church was the catalyst to my going deeper, but my relationship with the Creator became the foundation for the path I am on right now. I am a healer, an activator, and a guide for others transforming through the challenges of life. Every experience brought me here. Every stage and every step was necessary to become who I am today. I learned lessons along the way and now carry a wisdom I wouldn’t change for anything. It is from here that I reach the world around me.

As a Coach, I can reach people struggling in the places I have already been and come out of. Whether my clients struggle with a lack of self-love, meaningful relationships, purpose-filled living, or lack of direction, I can help them because I have been there. I am not your cookie-cutter coach, I go deep. Deeper than most can imagine, because it is in the very depths of what we run from that our freedom is found.

Aside from the wisdom gained from experience, I am now a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP, Time-Line Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Hypnotherapy. I am forever evolving because the needs of those I serve are forever evolving. I am living a life that is authentic, fulfilled, meaningful, and impactful, and it is my story that taught me the greatest lesson of all: Who I am matters, what I do matters, and why I do what I do will one day matter in the lives of many.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Oh, definitely not a smooth road. Building a legacy never is. I had a lot to learn about people, about business, and about myself to really learn what impact I needed to make. Creating a program was easy for me because I lived the evolution for myself, but knowing where to begin was a challenge. You can have the most amazing and profound message, but without an audience, it serves no purpose.

Building my brand was a challenge as well. I had to overcome imposter syndrome to truly adopt what my brand stood for.

There were long nights of training that went well into the early morning hours for weeks and months at a time. There was so much to learn about people, psychology, the internal workings of the human psyche, and then how to tailor this vast knowledge into something meaningful for others.

There is so much technology out there as well…where do I begin? What platforms, apps, programs, content, etc.? And everybody is selling the next best thing to become seen b those who need your services. It was overwhelming. So, I decided to ditch it all and simply show up in spaces. I had to overcome the fear of being seen, heard, and telling my story, but this is what people connected to.

I started to appear on podcasts, in different coaching spaces, in public forums and platforms to overcome that fear, and it pays off. We can buy the latest and greatest technology, but if we are not confident in who we are, what we carry, and why it matters, then we get lost in the digital world and make no difference at all.

My business and I are still a work in progress, but I can tell you I am way ahead of where I started.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business started out as a 1:1 coaching venture but has quickly grown into a massive program with different options for people’s individual journeys and needs. Here are a few things that I do now, and I believe this sets me apart.

5-Day Live Mastermind Events: The SHE POW (A Transformative Journey to Self) including a deep-dive workbook, live training, and a growing community.

5-Day 1:1 Challenges where my clients take 45-minute assessment to look at their NOW personality, limiting beliefs, and behavior patterns of their survivor identity. We meet for 5 straight days to remove a minimum of 2 of their major blocks to open the pathway to greater success.

5-Day 1:1 Challenge called The Flame, which is a deep-dive into their spiritual self, the journey, and developing techniques to create that deeper connection that they can use daily going forward.

I offer a certification program for coaches to be able to use the Impact Revealed Assessment and platform to better gauge client needs, develop programs, and tailor the client’s journey from the onset.

I am developing an online academy for spiritual coaches and those on a spiritual journey with a full coach AI for 24-hour access, live trainings, and a variety of programs to choose from.

And so much more to come (already in the works)
