Hidden Gems: Meet Preshious Eichenberger of Presh Fitness Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Preshious Eichenberger.

Hi Preshious; so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey started in 2018, right after graduating from Texas State University. I was unhappy with myself. I knew I needed to change, starting with my health and wellness. When I moved back home and started my new job, I began going to the gym with my mom and grandma as a part of my new post-grad routine. This is where it all started. We woke up at 4 am every morning and worked out at Planet Fitness. My goal at the time was weight loss. I had no experience in the gym, so I just did what I could and learned on my own as I progressed. I lost a total of 50 pounds on my own. People began noticing my results, so I created a fitness Instagram account to document the continued journey and inspire as many people as possible to get healthy. Shortly after, I began my studies to become a certified personal trainer. Right after receiving my certification, I was allowed to expand my platform at the one and only, Lift ATX. My clientele picked up so fast. I was working a new 9-5 job and training clients as a side hustle during the earlier COVID days. Fast forward 2 years later, I am now a gym owner at 27 years old.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The journey has been far from smooth. I could write a book listing all the challenges that I’ve faced along the way. However, one of the biggest challenges is people not taking my brand seriously. I’ve had to tell people no numerous times, speak up when I didn’t like something, and stop accepting the bare minimum. I have learned to stand firm on what matters and let no one take advantage of my kindness. And, of course, waking up super early every day is always a challenge! I call these good problems, though.

As you know, we’re big fans of Presh Fitness Studio. What can you tell our readers who might not be as familiar with the brand?
Presh Fitness Studio is a space where individuals become healthier, stronger, more confident, and more empowered versions of themselves. We coach individuals to build confidence in the fitness space and help them improve their quality of life by bettering their health through fitness and nutrition. We are uniquely qualified because we serve women from all backgrounds. We strive to create healthier habits, mindsets, and behaviors in our clients through education and intentional coaching. We specialize in small group training and private training, which allows us to truly get to know and connect with each of our members and provide the best experience possible. Anybody that walks through our doors can expect to work hard!

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The Covid-19 crisis changed my lifestyle and how I see the world. Covid-19 has taught me that physical and mental health should remain a priority and to live life with no regrets. You should do exactly what makes you happy. If there is something you want to do, go after it. It never hurts to give something a try!
