Today we’d like to introduce you to Queen Ramos
Hi Queen, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Queen Ramos, founder of Les Gorgees Coquettes Mobile Bartending Services LLC, where sophistication meets exceptional service. As the self-proclaimed Queen of Service, I’ve dedicated my life to creating bespoke experiences that go beyond bartending. I specialize in luxury, precision, and a bold personality that leaves every guest feeling like royalty.
My journey began in Miami as a proud first-generation Haitian-American, deeply inspired by my roots and the power of community. Along the way, I’ve lived in places like Belgium and Germany, where I honed my craft managing bars and events in international, upscale environments. When I returned to the U.S. in 2021, landing in Washington State, I knew it was time to turn my vision into reality.
But Les Gorgees Coquettes isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. I pour love, creativity, and passion into every event, creating unforgettable moments for my clients and their guests.
Today, based in Texas, I’m building an empire focused on marquee events, from Austin to Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond. My clients don’t just hire a bartender; they gain an unforgettable partner who brings bold concepts and exceptional service to life.
When a Queen stands tall, she becomes unstoppable and trust me, I’m just getting started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Let’s be honest the road so far has been anything but smooth, and I’m still figuring it out as I go. Starting a business is hard enough, but throw in limited funding and my ADHD, and you’ve got a cocktail of chaos. (At least I know how to make a good cocktail!)
Funding has been a huge challenge. Starting something from scratch without a big financial cushion is like trying to build a luxury bar out of toothpicks—it’s possible, but it takes time, patience, and a lot of creativity.
And then there’s my ADHD, which makes my brain feel like it’s in a race with no finish line. I have a million ideas but sometimes struggle to organize them into something actionable. It’s a blessing because I’m full of energy and innovation, but it also means I’ve had to work extra hard to stay focused and on track.
Despite all that, I haven’t let any of it stop me. I’m still in the trenches, building this business with grit, passion, and probably too much coffee. Every setback is just part of the journey, and I’m learning as I go. One thing’s for sure I may not have it all figured out yet, but this Queen is not giving up anytime soon.
We’ve been impressed with Les Gorgees Coquettes Mobile Bartending Service LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The name Les Gorgees Coquettes translates to “Flirtatious Sips,” and it perfectly captures the spirit of my business and me. My journey has been shaped by my Haitian roots and my time living in La Louvière, Belgium, on the French-speaking side. It was there that I developed a love for the bar scene and learned how much fun you can have creating connections over great drinks.
With Les Gorgees Coquettes, I bring that same energy to every event. My focus is on creating luxurious, personalized experiences through bespoke cocktails, elegant setups, and exceptional service. Whether it’s a small gathering or a marquee event, my goal is to make every guest feel special, welcomed, and like they’re part of something unforgettable.
While I’m still in the early stages of building my business, I’m proud of the foundation I’ve laid. Les Gorgees Coquettes is all about blending sophistication, creativity, and a little flirtation to turn every event into a standout moment.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people are surprised to learn that I’m 40 years old with four kids, including a 21-year-old son who’s proudly serving in the Army. Between my energy, my youthful vibe, and my go-getter attitude, people always assume I’m younger or that I couldn’t possibly balance motherhood, business, and life with this much enthusiasm. But trust me, I do it all, and I love every second of it!
