Today we’d like to introduce you to Yusbel Salgado Alonso.
Hi Yusbel, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Cuba, where opportunities were limited but ambition was not. Growing up, I learned early that if I wanted a better future, I would have to build it myself. In 2015, I moved to the United States with my mother Lariusky Alonso, who by the way , it’s my life and the reason that encourage myself to be better everyday. I was carrying nothing but determination, faith in my ability to grow, and the hope of creating a life filled with stability and purpose. My journey began with humble jobs and long hours, but every experience pushed me to understand people’s struggles and the importance of having someone trustworthy to guide them. Over time, I discovered that my passion was helping others—especially immigrants like me—navigate systems that often feel overwhelming, confusing, and intimidating.
That passion became the foundation of my business.
I started as a Notary Public, and helping people with the whole preparing process of some forms for USCIS, for offering simple services from a a little desktop and a chair that I placed on my apartment’s living room that I lived at that moment. From there, I continued studying, training, and earning certifications. I became a Certified Signing Agent, then a IRS Tax Professional. Each step opened new doors and allowed me to support my community in more meaningful ways.
In 2022, I founded Yusbelito Notary, Immigration & Tax Solutions LLC.
What began as a one-person operation has grown into a trusted resource for hundreds of people across Austin and the surrounding areas. Today, I help clients complete immigration forms for USCIS, I also fill out motion for EOIR (Executive Office Immigration Review) for administratively closure , “to continue”, to reopen and close removal proceedings, etc, prepare federal income taxes , understand legal documents, and navigate complicated processes with clarity and confidence.
My business is built on empathy, transparency, and the belief that everyone deserves access to reliable information and fair guidance, no matter their background or financial situation. I am proud to serve the Latin community and anyone who needs someone patient, professional, and willing to go the extra mile.
Looking back, I came to this country searching for opportunities; today, I create them—for myself and for others. My story is still being written, but I’m grateful for every challenge, every certification, every late-night study session, and every client who trusts me with their future. This is not just a business for me; it’s a mission, and I’m excited to continue growing and making a positive impact in Austin.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been smooth. Like many immigrants who arrive in the United States searching for a better future, I had to start from zero — no money, no connections, no guidance, and no idea how the system worked. I faced the language barrier, cultural differences, and the constant pressure of trying to understand everything on my own while still surviving day-to-day. One of the biggest challenges was stability. There were moments when I worked multiple jobs just to keep up, and moments when I doubted whether I would ever feel secure. Every certification I pursued required late nights of studying after long workdays, and every step forward felt like climbing uphill. But I refused to stop. I knew education was the key that would open doors not just for me, but for the people I wanted to help.
Another very difficult and big challenge was building trust. In the immigration and tax world, clients need someone who is responsible and reliable. Earning that trust as a young entrepreneur took time. I had to prove myself through hard work, transparency, and a commitment to doing things the right way—even when it meant going slower or studying twice as hard to make sure everything was done correctly.
Balancing everything alone has also been difficult. Running a business by yourself means you are the manager, the assistant, the marketer, the accountant, and the problem-solver all at once. There were many moments where it felt overwhelming, but every challenge pushed me to grow, to stay disciplined, and to keep learning.
Looking back, the obstacles shaped me. Without those struggles, I wouldn’t have the same empathy, patience, and dedication that I bring to my clients today. The difficult road helped me become stronger, more resourceful, and more committed to my mission of serving my community.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Yusbelito Notary Immigration & Tax Solutions LLC?
My business is called Yusbelito Notary, Immigration & Tax Solutions LLC, and it represents years of dedication, discipline, and service to my community. I offer a unique combination of services—Notary Public, Immigration Form Preparation, Certified Signing Agent services, and Federal Income Tax Preparation—all under one roof. By bringing these services together, I make it easier for families to handle many of their most important documents in one trusted place.
What makes my business special is that it was designed with a very specific purpose: to help people who feel overwhelmed, lost, or intimidated by legal paperwork, immigration forms, tax rules, or official processes. I know what it feels like to face these systems alone, especially as an immigrant, so my mission is to make the process clearer, safer, and more accessible for everyone who comes through my door.
I want every person who leaves my office to feel more confident, informed, and in control of their situation than when they arrived.
I specialize in guiding clients through immigration forms such as I-130, I-485, I-765, I-589, N-400 and many others. I also prepare federal income tax returns for individuals and families, and provide notary and signing services with professionalism and accuracy. My clients know me for patience, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to their well-being. I don’t rush people through the process; I educate them, support them, and make sure they understand every step.I also stay up to date with changes in immigration policy and tax law so my clients don’t have to worry about missing something important.
What sets me apart is my personal approach. I treat every client like a human being with a story—not a number or a case file. Many people in my community trust me because I respect their struggles, protect their information, and always go above and beyond to make sure their paperwork is done correctly. I work alone, but I put my heart into every service I provide. As a bilingual professional serving a largely Latino and immigrant community, I also understand the cultural and language barriers my clients face, and I work hard to create a space where they feel safe, heard, and understood.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the trust I’ve built. My business has grown almost entirely through word-of-mouth, because clients feel seen, valued, and safe with me. That trust is my biggest reward. I have never depended on big marketing campaigns—my best advertisement has always been a satisfied client telling a friend or family member, “Go to Yusbelito, he’ll take care of you.”
What I want readers to know is simple: my business exists to help people move forward. Whether someone needs to prepare a tax return, notarize a document, request immigration benefits, or understand a legal form, my goal is to guide them with professionalism, honesty, and compassion. Serving my community is both my career and my passion, and I’m proud of the impact I’ve been able to make.More than anything, I see my work as walking alongside people in some of the most important moments of their lives and helping them turn confusion and fear into clarity and hope.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, my goal is to continue expanding Yusbelito Notary, Immigration & Tax Solutions LLC and to create a larger impact in the Austin community. I plan to grow my services, continue earning new certifications, and develop a more complete support system for individuals and families who need help navigating immigration, tax, and legal paperwork.
One of my long-term plans is to open a larger office space where clients can have a more comfortable and accessible environment for consultations. I also want to build a team in the future so we can serve more people, reduce wait times, and provide even faster, more comprehensive support.
Education is another major part of my vision. I want to create workshops, online resources, and community classes to teach people how to understand forms, avoid mistakes, protect their information, and feel more confident with the legal and tax systems they depend on. Sharing knowledge is one of the most powerful ways to empower a community.
Ultimately, my biggest goal is growth—not just in size, but in quality, trust, and impact. I want my business to become a place where people feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. I’m excited for the future, and I’m committed to building something meaningful that continues to help others move forward in their lives.
