Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2018, just a few years after finishing esthetician school, I entered the lash industry with a lot of uncertainty, initially thinking it would just be a hobby. But from the moment I started, I was captivated by the transformative power of lash extensions and quickly realized this was my true calling.
After years of refining my skills and building my clientele, I took the leap in 2021 and turned my part-time side hustle into a full-time business, opening Body and Lash Addictions, where I offer not only lash extensions but lash lifts, brow services, waxing, and body contouring. Looking back, I see how every obstacle and every step contributed to my growth. Today, my business is more than just lash extensions—it’s about empowering women to feel their best and creating something that’s truly mine. My love for beauty has blossomed into a thriving studio that embodies my core values of self-confidence, hard work, and dedication.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to where I am now wasn’t always smooth—there were moments of self-doubt, tough choices, and plenty of learning along the way. Which I still sometimes feel today! But each challenge only fuels my drive and brings me closer to my ultimate goal. I’m not just focused on providing a service; I want to create an experience that genuinely elevates my clients’ confidence.

Any big plans?
My primary focus for the future is growth! Over the past year, I’ve invested in expanding through education, mentorship, and building meaningful relationships with talented professionals in the industry. As part of this growth, I’ve created my own lash training program to share my knowledge and help aspiring lash artists hone their skills and build successful careers. This is my way of giving back to the industry that has shaped me, while continuing to grow personally and professionally. Looking ahead, expanding my training and mentorship offerings will be my main priority as well as building a team of likeminded professionals.
