Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We’re a family-owned and operated bridal boutique that’s been helping brides say “yes” for over 22 years! I opened Georgio’s because I knew this would be such a fun and meaningful industry—especially with my two daughters by my side. It’s been amazing watching them grow in the business and knowing one day I’ll be able to pass it on to them.
We take so much pride in the level of customer service and the one-of-a-kind experience each bride has here at Georgio’s. Brides travel from all over the country to Waco just to find their dream gown with us—and that means the world!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest challenge we faced was definitely during COVID. Like so many others in the wedding industry, everything came to a sudden stop—families couldn’t gather, celebrations were postponed, and many brides chose smaller or more intimate weddings. It was a tough time, but it also reminded us how special every “yes” moment truly is.
We’ve been impressed with Georgio’s Bridal, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’re a high-end, family-owned bridal boutique that’s been part of the Waco community for over two decades. Along with bridal gowns, we also offer mothers’ dresses, menswear, and full in-house alterations to make sure every detail is perfect.
What truly sets us apart is the experience we create for our brides. Our team has been together for years — we really are like family — and that closeness shows in how we care for each of our customers. We’re proud to carry several exclusive designers that you won’t find anywhere else in Central Texas, which is why so many brides travel from Dallas, Austin, and beyond to find their dream gown with us.
