Hi Blaine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Towards the end of the pandemic, I started Vybe Productions. Our first event, Ecstatic Forest Festival, was a trial to see if I still had the skills and talent to pull off a full production, for the first time, on my own, leaning solely on my experience in entertainment running my first company as a teenager. My forest business, Wild DJs in Chicago, was a huge success. I began doing birthdays, and within 4 years, I was contracted to Kiss FM Chicago as their street team production company and DJ for events such as homecomings, proms, and tradeshows. Fast forward to 2022, after a rough start to doing my first festival, I found my old passion ignited and decided to pursue starting Vybe up, but with a twist. Using my corporate experience and business degrees, I created a hybrid entertainment company specializing not only in live events but immersive technology, LED walls, lignite, media creation, marketing, and even digital marketing. Our ability to create metaverses, stream content globally, and create events, festivals, and even music videos quickly took Vybe from part-time to full-time work for Blaine.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a little bumpy. I work from Z to A, so although the companies are doing well, and we have had some big clients already, maintaining working capital and now seeking sponsors along with investors is the next step to reaching my goals for the company.
