Hi Brent, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
thisthat CBD was founded by (Texas born and raised) Brent Bird in December of 2019 in Portland, Oregon. Brent was working in the Oregon recreational cannabis market selling THC rich products for a large company and saw a need in the local and national market to offer CBD rich hemp products (that were not intoxicating). He first launched CBD prerolls by partnering with one of the most respected hemp farms in the nation, East Fork Cultivars. East Fork is an all organic farm in Southern Oregon that prides themselves in putting the plant and its medicinal benefits before profit. thisthat CBD Prerolls were found online, in Oregon dispensaries and also on Amazon.com. Eventually thisthat launched THC Prerolls and other THC products. In 2023, thisthat Brent left Oregon to return home to Texas bringing his company with him. Today thisthat is sold all over the country, online and in many of Texas’s premium hemp retailers.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There was a period of time when I thought the brand would not survive. The introduction of THCa rich products into the Texas market is what saved us. Since that day things have been smooth sailing and steady growing!
