Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Back in 2015, my wife and I decided to start a boat rental company because we loved going to the lake. I grew up in Page, AZ which is a small lake town located right next to Lake Powell. Needless to say, I grew up at the lake! I loved the water so much, I decided to also join the US Coast Guard and was active duty for eight years. As a family that always enjoyed the outdoors and water, we decided to follow our passion!
We moved to Lago Vista, TX in 2016 and began running Liquid Thrillz boat rentals. We started as a mobile delivery service and within the past five years, we worked really hard and finally had our marina built-in Point Venture, TX.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our road was one with many bumps, but with hard work and determination, we persevered!
We’ve been impressed with Liquid Thrillz Boat Rentals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a family-owned and operated boat rental company located in Point Venture, TX on beautiful Lake Travis.
We have a variety of vessels to fit every boaters needs! If you are looking to cruise the lake with your entire family in style our top of the line Bennington Pontoons are the perfect fit for you! They provide plenty of space for the whole family, provide shade for the ones who don’t want any tan lines, and are perfect for a chill day on the lake! You can choose to self captain the vessel or request for your voyage to be captained by one of our drivers at an additional cost.
If you are looking to do more of the water sports aspect, we do offer top of the line Wake Surf Boats with Captains. Our captain services not only take you and your family out on the lake, they also provide water sports lessons for those in need. Wake Surf Boats are required to have one of our trained Captains.
We also have Double Decker Pontoons with slides that also come with Captains! Take your family out to the lake and not worry about the hassle of operating the boat! Sit back and enjoy your time!
We also have three-seater jet skis as well as Ski boats with wake towers for skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and kneeboarding.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
As a firefighter, I take risks everyday! Some of those risks are more severe than others, but honestly risk-taking is something we all do everyday whether we realize it or not. I, for one, am always up for taking a risk if there is a great gain. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You learn from the ones you lose.

- Jet Skis range from $85/hr to $75/hr
- Wake Boats are $200/hr with a Captain
