Inspiring Conversations with Gabrielle Crowley of Beautifully Linked LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Crowley

Hi Gabrielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a kid my grandmother bought us jewelry making kits & we would sale bracelets/necklaces to family and friends. I never thought that I’d wind up doing that again.

About 3 years ago my Husband, Tyler Crowley, took me to get my first Permanent Jewelry piece. I loved it soo much I wanted more. About a year after that (2 years ago) we went on a family vacation to Corpus Christi & we met an amazing small business owner Samantha who owns Lavender and Lee. My sister and I got custom pieces along with permanent jewelry.

Leaving there I told my sister I think I could do that but never thought further into the idea.

Last June for my birthday we went on an all girls trip to Fredericksburg, Texas and we all got another bracelet done there as a spur of the moment. That night I told my sister, Jasmine I picked the permanent jewelry owners brain and asked her why and how she started her business. I mentioned to my sister that would be another way to make money, I love doing fun things/creating memories.
Right away my sister was like yes you should look into it. My sister had instant faith in me and agreed that I would be good at this business.

After our girls trip I came home so eager to pitch the idea to my husband. At first he was a little skeptical. And said no …. But after a couple of weeks of him seeing me research he began researching too! After a month or so I came home, from working my part time job as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, and Tyler started asking me about the business idea. I was so shocked! I didn’t think he was still researching.
After a long conversation we decided to try it.

We took like two weeks trying to come up with our business name, Beautifully Linked LLC. Then we did some private parties in Sept. and started at local markets in ATX & DFW.

From Sept 17th to Dec 31st we were able to make back what we put in and profit.
In 3 months we made over a quarter of what I make as a RN.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not all smooth. We have had some learning curves as business owners.

We have two children. So our family is helping with our children my sister does as many of these events with me as she can currently. I knew she would be good at it to!

So that has been hard because we thought eventually I’d be able to do alone but that is not the case.

We have had to learn what markets work best for our type of business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Beautifully Linked LLC?
We are a Permanent Jewelry Business.

We host and attend local events. We set up our booth at each event, provide a unique experience where the customers select a piece of jewelry that can be customized with charms or a clasp if the individual desires to remove it.
Then it is welded on by a small jump ring to last forever.

What sets Beautifully linked apart is we make most of our charms. We offer clasps on all pieces which most others do not. And our customer service. We not only are looking to help you customize your piece but we love learning about our customers!
