Hi Kimber, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
A few years ago, I had a boyfriend deep into luxury brand shopping. He did some upgrading and I was left with a few luxury handbags that I no longer felt like looking at after we broke up. They sold incredibly fast leaving me wondering if I should have asked more. It was during my research that I noticed the huge demand for Preloved luxury handbags in Excellent Condition. By this time, I was already an early connoisseur of luxury handbags myself and noticed the large price discrepancy between the ones in excellent condition and those that weren’t. My previous work in home design including reclamation and restoration of construction materials for use in new construction and remodel projects. My skills and experience refinishing wood provided the confidence I needed to attempt bag restoration. I bought a couple of bags with my proceeds, fixed them up and flipped them, bought more and never stopped.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The process of bag restoration is something I had to learn along the way. There has been a lot of trial and error with much improvement over the years. As I’ve found various problems in different bags, I’ve looked for solutions. This turned into customizing and eventually redesigning the bags to make them more functional for today’s user.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
The value of the items I sell makes each product purchase a risk. It’s taken time to learn which items sell best and are worth the investment. There is also the risk of not being able to repair a bag. If I’m not able to restore to excellent condition, I have to get creative to find a way to both fix a problem and make the bag desirable. As for large risks, I’ve taken the time necessary to build the business without getting into debt. I’m very happy I did not have to take the loan risk.
