Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Tremonti
Hi Kristen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After a decade-long career in commercial real estate, I decided to pursue my creative passions wholeheartedly. Currently, I am writing a book about my experience of writing 365 handwritten notes – one every day for a year. I started teaching note-writing workshops, which ultimately inspired me to create Creatively Noted. My love for creative writing, self-development, and connecting with others led me to this unconventional path, where I can express my creativity, spread love, and deepen connections.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Creating a business from nothing is both incredibly rewarding and challenging. I remember when I first got my LLC, I received a stack of mail that I thought were bills. I went to the bank to get checks to pay these “bills,” only for my partner to point out that they were spam. I’d already written out the checks, thinking they were legit. I spent much of that afternoon in tears, trying to figure out what I actually needed to pay.
Navigating the latest tech and systems to run a business has been a significant learning experience. Fortunately, I’ve worked with an amazing coach, Abbi Miller, who has helped turn my business dreams into reality.
We’ve been impressed with Creatively Noted, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I host handwritten note-writing workshops, both in person and virtually, for groups and commercial clients.

At Creatively Noted, we truly believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We love helping people understand the power of a simple handwritten note. Our workshops inspire people to reconnect with themselves and others, showing how their words can positively impact the world.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
During a time of isolation and uncertainty, I realized the importance of connection. The pandemic highlighted our deep human need to maintain and nurture our relationships.
I leaned heavily on my practice of handwriting notes and discovered that I experience love every time I express love. Handwritten notes became a tangible reminder that someone cares, offering comfort and closeness when face-to-face interactions weren’t possible.
This period reinforced my belief in the power of small gestures to bridge physical gaps and continues to inspire my work in fostering genuine connections through the simple act of writing a note.
