Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
During my senior year at Texas A&M University, where I graduated with a Degree in Economics and Business Management, I experienced first-hand the inefficiencies of group transportation and its effects on urban congestion. So my co-founder, Justin Rath, and I decided to do something about this societal issue.
As cities across the world deal with a growing population, rising emissions, and increasing congestion, one thing is certain, the future of transportation is a greener shared mobility. The proliferation of individual rides is too energy-intensive and leads to intolerable levels of congestion, fundamental issues that many shared mobility companies fail to properly address in their business models.
With Fetii, we’ve created a rideshare platform that utilizes a network of 15-passenger vans to allow groups to ride together, thus reducing congestion and emissions while providing a superior transportation experience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any effort to change the world is met with obstacles, it’s the leadership’s responsibility to get the team past those hurdles. One of our largest obstacles that we have overcame was the Coronavirus Pandemic, in which our business suffered significantly. Rather than do layoffs, our team successfully secured a large government contract to utilize Fetii’s technology for contact tracing purposes. We are now growing quicker than ever and transporting hundreds of thousands of riders.

Fetii is a rideshare platform that provides on-demand group transportation for groups, events, and businesses in order to reduce emissions and decrease congestion. Utilizing a network of high-capacity vehicles, Fetii makes it so that groups no longer have to split up and take multiple vehicles, which creates a superior transportation experience while helping the environment. Fetii has transported over 260k passengers and is operating in Austin, College Station, and Lubbock Texas with plans to further expand in 2022.
What matters most to you?
My goal, and the goal of the entire Fetii team, is to leave the world better than we found it. In our case, ensuring transportation is efficient and environmentally-friendly. I believe we have a responsibility to not only improve the world for the next generation but to innovate so we may further inspire change after we are gone.
