Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my massage career 7 years ago. I was 40. I was still trying to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up LOL.
Unbeknownst to me the decision to walk into Southeastern college was the beginning of a totally new path.
I already knew that doing massage meant a transference of energy between myself and whomever I did a session with.
With that overstanding, I realized immediately that I would need to make sure that my energy was protected from any negative energy on the outside as well as any negative energy that may have been inside of myself.
So I began looking into energy. Healing reiki, and what I discovered while in school was that the art of intentional touch came very easy to me.
Noticing that my touch was genuinely calming and naturally intuitive I began to really tap in and recieve a connection that felt Divine and just right.
I see myself as a
Genuine spiritually led healer intuitively, not just a massage therapist.
I identify as a Nervous System Restoration Specialist 😊
Like to be transparent sometimes when I have a client on the table. Yes, I have my training from school.However the body really does speak, so I tune in and I listen sometimes I am in awe of the healing that happens.
I am also a Reiki Master Teacher, so part of my journey is to awaken energy of Healing in others. I teach all 3 levels of Reiki and I look forward to stepping into that role more this year.
With that being said I’m also looking into hiring a couple of massage therapists who love what they do and they know that this is a field of intention.
They are looking to grow with my company Majestic Reign to make a difference mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically because, believe it or not, this intentional work changes a person on every level. And I am proud to be part of it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely. Not a smooth road anytime you start a business from scratch. There are definitely going to be struggles along the way. You just have to be willing and determined enough to stay the course
Struggles would consist of
Building your clientele of people that really want to patron, not just your company, but you as well.
Finding the right type of marketing to advertise your company that doesn’t hit you in your pocket.
Doing your best not to look like a gimmick
However, I came to the realization the other day that in order to be my authentic self. That means from top to bottom, rain or shine, day or night in this business.
In my business, I have to do what absolutely feels right for me. And LOL gimmicky might be a thing for me and I’m okay with that. Because when the idea comes, it will be a genuine idea. And I’m here for it all. 🤣

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Running around playing Outside with my friends. Then, going the house and get snacks for everybody. And listen to my mom yell at me because I shared all the snacks LOL
